If you follow me on instagram, you might have seen a sneak peek of my new bedroom. I decided to redecorate it and replace all furniture, which cost me a small fortune, but... I was sick of the old style drawers and my husband kept asking me to get rid of my huge dressing table. Yes... My dressing table is gone. I still can't believe it and it is sad, but I didn't really use it, so replacing it with a tall Malm unit from Ikea was a good idea. It actually works really well and I love it. I also bought two sets of Malm Drawers and bedside tables, a white leather headboard and a white leather blanket box. I went for a more modern look this time and I love it. I can't wait to share the photos with you, once it is all finished, but at the moment I am still working on the finishing touches.

First of all, I am planning to replace my chevron bedding with a simple linen set, like the Wentworth one. White bedding makes a bedroom look fresh and clean. I also have my eye on the wooden base French Connection Lamps. I am not sure if I will be able to afford two of them, but I might ask my husband to do a DIY version. The biggest decor obsticle I am facing at the moment is the bedroom wallpaper. We are renting a house, so we don't want to spend a fortune on nice wallpaper, but I really dislike the current one. I would love to get my hands on a beautiful grey wallpaper and the bird print one looks lovely. The most expensive item on my wishlist is the Winter Indulgence Candle from The White Company. I wish it was cheaper... It is massive and burns for 230 hours!!! I am also looking for a nice mirror in a white antique frame. The Dunelm & Mill design seems pretty affordable, so I might purchase it soon. I am not sure if I mentioned it already, but the theme of the new bedroom is white, yellow and grey. The flower cushion from Next is exactly what I am looking for and I will have to pick it up this weekend. It is gorgeous.

I promise to add a bedroom tour post, once the bedroom is finally finished, but I am not sure what's happening with the wallpaper and it is driving me insane.
