Review: Beauteco Box August 2013

Another month, another great Beauteco Box*. I am seriously impressed with the selection of products in every single box I received so far. I like a good mixture of makeup and skincare and Beauteco ticked all the boxes again. In August I chose menu 1, with three full size products and two samples. The most exciting part for me was the Lord & Berry makeup :)

Just like I said before, my favourite products in the box were the makeup bits from Lord & Berry. The lipstick in shade Peach Gleam is the most beautiful peachy colour and the consistency is creamy and moisturising. You can see the swatches on the photos below. The Lord & Berry Kissproof Lip Colour Blossom Liner is much darker than the lipstick, but it will be perfect for a dark nude lip or used with dark pink shades. It isn't the creamiest formula I have used, but it is long lasting and does exactly what I want it to do.

Another full size product in the box is the Arran Aromatics Lavender and Tea Tree Facial Wash. I don't use foaming gel formulas on my face, so I won't be testing it out properly, but I will definitely use it up as a shower gel or a hand wash. It smells refreshing and doesn't feel to drying on the skin.

The sample I was very excited to try is the Melvita Orange Blossom Water Atomiser. I love Melvita's Apicosma range, so I had high expectations. My verdict- I love it! It smells incredible and makes my skin feel very soft and nourished. I have been using it after exfoliating with Clarins Exfoliating Toner and I love the effects. I will definitely buy the full size in the future. It is a beautiful product.

The last sample is an S5 Calm Serum. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds promising. It is meant to sooth sensitive skin and reduce redness. I am currently trying out another serum, but I am looking forward to giving this one a go soon.
