My favourite body scrubs: Neom, Organic Surge, Lulu & Boo, Chery Lin, Next and a Homemade Pumpkin Spice Scrub

I adore sugar scrubs and I can honestly say that they are the only body care product I use religiously. They are a hassle free way of exfoliating and moisturising at the same time and help to keep my skin in great condition. As you can see, my selection includes six different scrubs and most of them are natural and organic. I also make DIY scrubs regularly, but I will talk about it at the end of the post.

The most recent addition to my body care cabinet is the beautiful Neom Organics Real Luxury Scrub. My first ever Neom product was their Real Luxury Body Wash and I am still a big fan of the scent. It is a blend of Lavender, Jasmin and Brazilian Rosewood- very relaxing and soothing. The scrub is made with 97% certified organic ingredients, including an organic sugar base and Safflower & Jojoba Oils. With added Vitamin E to soften the skin, it is perfect as a deeply nourishing treat for the body. The sugar removes dead skin cells, improves circulation and reveals beautiful, glowing skin, without being irritating or scratchy. It feels very luxurious and the essential oils help to relax and de-stress. That's why I love Neom- their products never fail to make me feel better and create a perfect atmosphere for pampering.

Chery Lin Coconut Rose Sugar Body Scrub* £27.95

I reviewed this scrub in March and I am sad to be finishing the jar. I absolutely love the sweet coconut scent of this product, with notes of rose and jasmine. Perfect! It leaves my skin soft and nourished and the notes of coconut linger on my body for many hours! If I can find it on offer in the future, I will definitely repurchase it.

I finished my first jar of this luxurious scrub a while ago and I really enjoyed using it, so when  I noticed it in the Organic Surge sale, I couldn't resist placing an order. It is currently reduced to £8.00! What a bargain! You can read my full review of the Organic Surge Million Dollar Brown Sugar Body Polish here

I adore anything Vanilla and this scrub smells good enough to eat! It feels a bit scratchy, but I don't mind that feeling on my body. It contains organic brown sugar to exfoliate, coconut butter to soften and almond and jojoba oils to moisturise. I had a tiny amount left in the jar and I finished it yesterday :( Booo. I can't justify spending £27.00 on a replacement at the moment, because I have other scrubs to use up first, but I might treat myself  to more Lulu & Boo goodness in the future.

This beautiful golden scrub, was part of Next's Christmas Collection, so it is really hard to get, but... I managed to repurchase it on ebay recently. Yay!!! What is so different about it? The golden glow and a beautiful, unique scent. I love using it in summer, when I am showing more skin in dresses and shorts. It is a 3 in 1 wonder - it exfoliates, moisturises and adds subtle shimmer! If Next decides to bring it back for Christmas 2013, I will definitely stock up!

I also adore my DIY Cinnamon and Pumpkin Spice Scrub. It is incredible! I love making my own beauty products and I make body scrubs very often. I usually go for a sugar base, but sometimes I like to use sea salt or coffee. This one is made with organic brown sugar, extra virgin olive oil, raw coconut oil, ground cinnamon and a pumpkin spice blend. It smells absolutely amazing and  it is edible! I love using it as a lip scrub as well and I always eat some of it :) Ooops... I try to use up my DIY scrubs within 6-8 weeks and make them in small batches.
