Bourjois Maxi Delight Bronzer and Bronzing Base Review

Every time I review a Bourjois product, I mention that they are my favourite high street brand :) It will never change! Their products are great value for money and the Healthy Mix Serum Foundation and Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix Foundation are absolutely amazing. I also adore the Bourjous Little Round Pots and I recently fell in love with the Colour Boost Crayons (review coming soon).

This summer Bourjois released a range of bronzing products, including the Maxi Delight Bronzer, a Bronzing Primer and Bronzing BB Cream. I love having a bronzed complexion, so I was super excited to give the products a go.

Bourjois Bronzing Primer* £9.99

The Bourjois Bronzing Primer is a gorgeous little product, perfect for those, who don't like to use powders on their face. You can use it as a base (see before and after photos below) or as a cream bronzer. The consistency feels like a velvety mousse, it is very light and non greasy and helps to smooth the complexion and add a bit of warmth and colour. I apply it with my fingers and smooth it allover my face (if used as a base), or gently dab it onto desired areas (if used as a bronzer). The mousse is very easy to work with and doesn't make me look orange at all. It adds a subtle bronzed glow to my face and reduces redness and the appearance of imperfections. I also adore it's chocolate scent. Yum! It smells good enough to eat! The formula is enriched with cocoa beans and orange blossom elixir to add radiance and hydration, doesn't clog pores and let's the skin breathe. It feels moisturising and... has a mattifying effect, keeping my t-zone shine free for about 4-5 hours.

I absolutely love this product and it is my summer must have!

I have been using this bronzer on my face and body and I love the way it looks in the sun. It reflects light beautifully! It has subtle gold shimmer and is probably best suited for the body, but I don't mind a bit of micro glitter on my face and use this bad boy for contouring and adding an allover glow :) It won't make you look like a glitter ball, so don't worry, but when you are in the sun, you will see the gold sparkles.

The colour is a gorgeous dark bronze shade and the finely milled texture is very easy to blend. You can achieve a soft sun kissed look with it, or build up more layers to enhance your tan. I use it with Real Techniques Blush Brush or any standard powder brush, but you can also use a body kabuki to save time when applying the bronzer onto your body.

Overall, it is a fantastic bronzer and it looks very natural on my skin tone. You get a lot of product for your money and I can see it lasting me for ages!

You can buy the products from Boots and other Bourjois stockists.
