Vera Wang Lovestruck EDP* 50ml £39.99
When I first noticed this beautiful Vera Wang EDP online, I had a massive urge to buy it. I am a sucker for pretty packaging and the fancy flowers on the bottle really make this perfume stand out. When I was offered a chance to review a product from Chemist Direct, I knew exactly what it was going to be, as soon as I spotted Lovestruck :)
I love floral scents and considering the flower themed packaging, I expected a floral explosion! Am I impressed? YES! I absolutely love it! It is is very feminine, fresh and juicy and it has been my go to fragrance for the past two weeks. Lovestruck is a blend of sweet guava, lotus, orange, angelica blossom and tuberose, with a delicate woody base and a touch of musk. I am not good at describing fragrances, am I? :) Here is the poetic description:
"The fragrance opens with the zesty freshness of orange which is enhanced by the gentle sweetness of guava, which slowly dissipates to reveal a beautiful floral blend of lotus, tuberose and angelica. This delicate composition is wonderfully enhanced by a smooth, earthy base containing woody and musk notes."
The initial fruity scent lasts for about an hour, but once it settles, the floral and musky notes linger on my skin all day!
Overall, I am very impressed with the scent and I adore the packaging! The purple version of Lovestruck is already on my birthday wishlist :)
