theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer aka The Luminizer review

This review is an exciting one for me, because the Luminizer is my first product from theBalm.
The brand gets a lot of love from bloggers and it has been on my radar for ages.
I can describe my first experience with the brand in one word- LOVE!

It was love at first sight/touch. As soon as I opened the compact and swatched it on  my hand, I knew that I found the perfect highlighter. I was looking for something more golden than MAC MSF in Soft & Gentle , but not too gold, if that makes sense :)

It is a shimmery, warm, golden champagne shade and it looks amazing on tanned skin.

The formula of this highlighter is absolutely beautiful. It is finely milled and super pigmented, so you need the smallest amount of product to achieve a luminous complexion. I dab it onto my cheekbones with my fingers and blend it out with Real Techniques contour brush. The effect is quite strong at first, but once blended, the highlighter doesn't look to shimmery and adds a gorgeous glow!

It also looks amazing used as an eyeshadow, especially in the inner corners and under the brown bones. Great multi-tasker. On top of all that, the formula is oil and paraben free!

I can't praise this highlighter enough and I think that it should be in everybody's makeup bag.
I can see myself using it every single day, until I hit pan :) haha. Amazing!

You can buy it from www.beautychamber.co.uk
