Light knitwear for summer

The Spring/Summer season in UK is usually full of surprises and we never know what to expect from the weather. I am really enjoying the sunshine at the moment, but my wardrobe is still full of knitwear :)  I like to wear light, pretty and colourful jumpers in Summer, especially  if I am going somewhere in the evening.

All the pieces featured in this post are from purecollection.com , who stock high quality cashmere clothing at affordable prices and a big selection of luxurious, chic womenswear.

My favourite piece from the collection must be the textured jacket-style cardigan (£83.00). It is very elegant and I would wear it with a simple white t-shirt and jeans on a cool summer evening. I don't own this type of jacket yet, but I really, really want one.

The ruffle edge cardigans (£104.00) are beautiful too. I adore ruffles and pastel colours, so if you combine those two together, you get my idea of pretty and feminine :) They would look perfect  with summer dresses or worn with a simple vest top and shorts.

I also love the look of simple striped jumpers and the mint cashmere blend striped sweater (£99.00)  is right up my street. It features a comfortable, classic design with drop shoulder and tubular trims. It is also available in white.

If you like prints, the printed cashmere cardigan (£96) could be your perfect summer knit. It is very elegant and ... made with 100% cashmere.

The last piece I absolutely adore is the white crochet sweater (£119.00). It would complete most casual holiday looks and I can imagine it looking amazing, worn with a bright bikini underneath. I know that it  isn't everybody's cup of tea, but I love crochet clothing!

Oh, I wish I could go on a big shopping spree right now and treat myself to some new summer pieces.

Do you wear light, colourful jumpers and cardigans in summer?
