Eye Of Horus Makeup - Inspired By Ancient Egyptians

When some beautiful Eye Of Horus products landed on my desk, I was very intrigued.
I really like the name of the brand and the simple black and gold packaging, inspired by Ancient Egyptians is right up my street. I have a soft spot for anything ancient religion and mythology related :)

Eye of Horus products are paraben and cruelty free, contain as much natural content as possible and are suitable for sensitive skin. Inspired by iconic Ancient Egyptian eye products, the Eye of Horus makeup range was created to provide long lasting, non irritating and nourishing formulas.

Eye Of Horus Isis Sun Goddess Eye Shadow Palette* £29.95

This little palette consists of three wearable shades, perfect to create a bronzed smokey eye. It is a great travel-size and comes with a mirror and a mini brush inside. The formula is creamy, super pigmented and easy to blend, making the application effortless and mess free. With a primer, the eye shadows lasted on my eyelids all day, without creasing.  The finish of these is metallic, but it looks quite subtle once applied onto the eyelid, with the pigments reflecting light beautifully. The colours include:

Enigma Myst- a delicate champagne shade (metallic)
Chalice Bronze - a light coppery brown (metallic)
Sacred Husk- golden medium brown (metallic)

---> Opening offer includes a free full size double ended brush <---

Eye Of Horus Eye Pencils: Teal Malachite and Serpentine Sultry £13.00 each

The eye pencils are creamy and pigmented, gliding onto the eyelids effortlessly, without tugging. The formula is waterproof & smudgeproof and it stays in place until I decide to remove it with a cleansing balm.

Teal Malachite is a gorgeous metallic teal/aqua shade and it looks incredible in the lower waterline. I tend to wear teal eyeliner a lot in summer. I love the way it looks with brown eyes and a subtle, warm smokey eye.
Serpentine is a dark olive/brown shade with gold shimmer. It is perfect for enhancing the lash line. It also looks lovely smudged allover the lid, for a messy/lived in smokey look.

Eye Of Horus Liquid Difine Eye Liner* £13.00

I am a liquid liner gal, so this product was a little bit out of my comfort zone :) I am good at applying eye liner though, so I managed too make it work. It is a jet black liner with a felt tip and once applied, it lasts all day, looking 100% perfect. It does't flake or smudge and I would definitely recommend it to those who love felt tip liners. It is very precise and easy to control and I actually started using it regularly.
