Tropic Pure Plant Skin Care Organic Elixir Oil and Face Smooth Brightening Polish review

I love skincare more than makeup and it is not a secret :) My favourite face products at the moment are oils and cleansing balms and I absolutely adore them! I have been trying out a couple of new skincare treats from Tropic Pure Plant Skincare and I am finally ready to share my thoughts with you.

I exfoliate my face every day and switch between a couple of products and methods. Muslin cloths are my best friend and remove most dead skin cells, but 3-4 times a week I need something extra. The Face Smooth Brightening Polish is perfect for giving my skin a boost of radiance, toning, moisturising and combating patches of dry skin. It should be used twice a week, but I have been reaching for it every second day.

When I opened the jar, I was a little bit confused about the consistency and had to give the product a good stir.
The oils tend to rise to the top, especially in high temperatures.

The scent of this face scrub is amazing! It smells like fresh lemons and it instantly puts me in a good mood.
The ingredients are 100% natural and include Acai Berry, Sugar Cane, Rice Flour, Vitamin E, Macadamia, Golden Jojoba, Sweet Almond and more. You won't find anything nasty on the ingredient list, because this little jar is full of goodness!

The consistency feels quite rough, but it is very effective and does't irritate sensitive skin. I love the way it makes my skin feel and I noticed the brightening effect after a couple of uses The scrub does an amazing job at buffing away all dead skin cells, leaving my face clean, smooth and glowing!

The price is very reasonable and a little goes a long way, so I will definitely repurchase it in the future.

Facial oils are a massive part of my skincare routine and I use them at least once a day, usually at night time. Most of my oils have a strong scent though, and it drives my husband insane. When I first tried the Organic Facial Elixir, I was pleasantly surprised with the fragrance free formula and gave my husband a heads up to give it a whirl. He suffers from dry skin and eczema and his skin needs extra care.

First of all, the packaging is lovely - a beautifully shaped glass bottle with a fancy  metal cap. It dispenses one drop at the time and needs a good shake before each use. I really like this type of dispenser, because there is nothing worse than getting too much oil out, especially such a precious blend. The hero ingredient is Moringa Oil, a natural skin brightener, containing 1700 antioxidants (!) and Vitamin C. Other lovely ingredients include Kiwi Seed Oil, Rosehip Oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E.

The consistency of the oil is lovely and my skin absorbs it very quickly. For reference I have normal skin, with an oily T-zone and some dry patches. I always apply an extra drop to the dry areas to keep them hydrated.

I have been using the Tropic Organic Face Elixir at night time for over 6 weeks and it is a gorgeous product. It leaves my skin smooth, balanced, hydrated and supple!

You get 50ml of oil for £30, which is great value for money, considering the amazing ingredient list!

Overall, I am really impressed with both Tropic products and I love using them.
