I was kindly sent three Lime Crime Lipsticks, an Eyeshadow Palette, an Eye Shadow Primer and the amazing Suedeberry Velvetine by Cocktail Cosmetics! All the colours are really pretty and vibrant and I can't wait to feature some makeup looks created with the products.

Lime Crime China Doll Eye Shadow Palette* £23.95

The palette comes in a sturdy purple metal tin with sliver embossing in the front and features five super pigmented shades.

The formula is very easy to work with and the smallest amount of product provides amazing coverage and pigmentation! The texture is creamy, with very minimal/no fallout and exceptional lasting power (12 h+ with primer).
The palette contains 4 matte and one metallic shade, all of them very vibrant and easy to blend. The shades include:

Fly Dragon Fly - bright red (matte)
Parasol - sky blue (matte)
Goldfish - bright gold (metallic)
Jade-o-Lade -rich jade (matte)
Lotus Noir - blackest black (matte)

I know that the colours are not everybody's cup of tea, but I love using vibrant shades in summer and I will get a lot of use out of this beaut!

Lime Crime Candyfuture Collection Lipsticks* £11.50 each 3.5g

I am sure that the most popular Lime Crime products are their signature lipstick. The purple packaging is gorgeous and the sliver unicorn makes it even prettier. The formula is very pigmented and creamy and opaque in one sweep. They are very long lasting as well, with the dark shades reaching a 5 hour mark and the lilac one 2-3 hours. I know that some people find the formula of the lighter and crazy shades (lilac, blue) drying, but I didn't have a problem with that. They feel moisturising and you can actually see the added moisture on the lip swatches below.

The selection of colours is very impressive, offering unusual shades for those who love experimenting with lip colour. If you are not brave enough to wear lilac or blue :) you can always pick a red, pink or peachy shade.

I received shades D'Lilac, Retrofuturist and Poisonberry and all of them are beautiful!

D'Lilac is a pastel lilac shade and the most crazy colour I have ever used on my lips. I wouldn't wear it out, but I can make it work by dabbing it onto my lips and adding some lipgloss on top. It looks really pretty.

Retrofuturist is the most wearable shade from the collection - a beautiful, bright red. It really works with my complexion and it could be THE perfect red for me.

Poisonberry has the coolest name in my opinion. I just love it :) It is a deep plum shade and it really makes a statement. I really like applying it lightly on top of a lip balm to create a gorgeous berry tint.

Overall, I love the formula, the packaging and the unique colours and I might purchase the pink and peachy shades in the future.

Lime Crime Suedeberry Velvetine Lip Colour* £11.50 3g

This product was the one I applied onto my lips as soon as I opened the parcel and was very excited to try out!
It looks like a super pigmented lip gloss, with its creamy texture and a wand applicator, but...it is the opposite of a lipgloss :) It is a liquid lipstick with a matte finish!

I am not the biggest fan of matte lip products, but The Suedeberry Velvetine is different and I really like it.
It feels like velvet and applies like a dream, giving opaque coverage in one coat. It dries to a totally matte finish and looks lovely! The formula is waterproof and lasts on my lips for over 6 hours (with eating and drinking). If I apply it in the morning, I can still see a wash of colour on my lips in the evening, as it fades evenly throughout the day. The swatch on my hand was still there after a shower! Amazing!

Suedeberry is a very vibrant, orange toned red and it would be perfect for those who love corals!

I expected this product to be quite drying, but if you moisturise your lips regularly, it won't be a problem.  I forgot to take a photo of the Suedeberry Velvetine on my lips with my SLR, but you can see it here on my instagram.

Lime Crime released two shades of the Velvetine: Suedeberry and Red Velvet.

Lime Crime Eye Shadow Helper* £13.00 10g

I always use eye shadow primers before applying eye makeup, because they really help to prolong wear of all eye shadows. They also intensify the colours and prevent creasing (my worst nightmare).

The Lime Crime Eye Shadow Helper is just as good as my Urban Decay Primer Potion.
It has a creamy consistency and primes my eyelids perfectly, leaving them smooth and ready for applying eyeshadows. It is suitable for all skin types and claims to "withstand the oiliest of lids". I don't have a problem with oily lids, but I really like this primer. It keeps my eye makeup in place all day and prevents creasing.

Overall, my first experience with Lime Crime was great! I am very impressed with all the products, their quality, pigmentation and lasting power! They don't test on  animals and offer vegetarian and vegan friendly makeup at reasonable prices.
