My new fragrance love: Swiss Army Victoria EDT

"Swiss Army Victoria expresses the personality of a modern woman, endowed with an innate sense of casual chic. It gives her the strength and the reassurance of feeling good for the daily adventures in her life. Naturally sexy but not extravagant, she confidently expresses her elegance and independence."

I have been looking for a fragrance with a top note of blackcurrant for a long time, so I couldn't resist trying out this beautiful Victorinox creation - Victoria EDT. I must admit, I have never heard about this company or the scent, but I love finding new, unusual products and this sounded perfect.

The top notes include Freesia, Plum and Blackcurrant, followed by heart notes of Bulgarian Rose, Lily Of The Valley and Viola. The base notes consist of Cedar Leaf, Sandal Wood, White Musk and Myrrh. I immediately fell in love with this combination, even though the blackcurrant notes weren't too strong. I can definitely smell them, but I would love to find something stronger. Blackcurrants became my new obsession :)

Victoria EDT is light, fruity, slightly sweet and perfect for Spring/Summer. I would describe it as a very feminine and elegant fragrance for those who like more mature scents, without too much muskiness. I adore it and I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. I know that it isn't a popular fragrance which makes me want to wear it even more. There is nothing worse than using the same EDT/EDP as every single female you know, right? :)

I also received a gorgeous little travel spray, shaped like a swiss knife and I can't be without it now! I don't own a Travalo, so I carry this beaut with me. It looks cool, doesn't it? You can get it as a free gift if you buy the EDT.

The fragrance itself costs £51.00, but you can also buy a Victoria EDT Gift Set  with a beautiful Swiss knife with white and gold detail for the same price. To find out if you like this lovely scent, make sure to request a free fragrance sample here or pop into the Victorinox Flagship Store in London. The micro site allows you to create a beautiful bouquet and send a postcard with the fragrance sample. I also created and e-card and you can see it on the bottom of the post.
