Melvita Apicosma Creamy Cleansing Milk and 3 Honeys Balm Review

I've only heard good things about Melvita, especially their Rose range. I was kindly sent two products from the Apicosma skincare collection and I am very impressed with them.  I also got an Apicosma face cream in a beauty box a couple of days ago and I am seriously addicted to it.

The Apicosma range  uses a unique complex of three organic honeys (Thyme, Acacia and Orange Blossom) and it was designed for dry and damaged skin.
-it nourishes by instantly feeding the skin with lost nutrients
-repairs skin's natural moisture barrier function by strengthening the dermal and epidermal layers
-revitalises by stimulating microcirculation and intercellular exchanges helping with oxygenation.

3 Honeys Balm* £9.00 / 10g

I love lip balms and I use them every single day. My lips aren't extremely dry, but they need a lot of TLC. The 3 Honeys Balm is and ultra-repairing product  for damaged and distressed skin and can be used on all areas of your body. I only use it on my lips at the moment. It smells incredible, with hints of honey and sweet orange and melts in contact with skin.

The consistency is smooth and rich and doesn't feel sticky. It creates a protective layer and makes my lips feel soft and nourished. It soothes irritation and redness and I would definitely recommend it to those who suffer from dry skin and chapped lips. I really love it!

Cream cleansers are a big part of my skincare routine and I love trying out new ones. This one is rich and creamy and has a floral scent with a hint of honey. It is enriched with the 3 Honeys complex, Pollen and Sweet Almond and it is very gentle for the skin.

I use it as the first step of my cleansing routine, to remove makeup and daily grime, by massaging it allover my face and removing with big cotton wool pads. I follow with a cleansing balm (Emma Hardie or Balance Me) and polish it off with a muslin cloth or a flannel. The cleansing milk removes all my makeup and it is gentle enough to be used around the eye area (it removes waterproof mascara as well). My skin is quite dry, so this cleanser is perfect for me. It nourishes the skin, leaving it soft and supple.

I am also using a small sample of the Ultra-Nourishing Cream from the Apicosma range and I am addicted to it. It is really soothing and makes my skin feel amazing!

Overall, I am very impressed with Melvita's Apicosma collection and my dry skin is loving it!
