Today I am reviewing another lovely NARS product, from the Andy Warhol Collection.
The International Velvet Larger Than Life Lip Gloss is a shade I would describe as a milky pink. It is a neutral, pale colour, with a glossy finish. Unfortunately, it is quite hard to apply and settles into the lines on my lips. If I am planning to use it, I have to make sure that my lips are super smooth, with no dry patches. A perfect base helps to achieve a nice even application. Once on, the lip gloss feels comfortable on my lips and stays put for about 5 hours, which is brilliant in my opinion. The formula is nourishing and makes my lips look full and plump. I like wearing International Velvet with a smokey eye and a pale pink blusher or with neutral eye makeup for a more girly look.
I also use it on top of pink and nude lipsticks, in the centre of my lips, to create an illusion of fuller lips.
The packaging is very classic and the brush is perfectly shaped to ensure a precise application.
Overall, it is a nice product, but this shade is quite hard to work with.
