DuWop Circle Block, Private Red lipstick and Crush Lava eyeshadow trio review

Private Red lipstick* 4g £19.00 link

I like the idea of a lipstick that changes colour depending on your skins pH balance. It is a beautiful shade of red and can be applied lightly for a subtle look, used as a lip stain (it stays on for hours) or applied normally to create a statement lip. It feels very moisturising and applies beautifully. It feels like a lip balm, but the colour payoff is amazing. It is highly pigmented and lasts on my lips for a good 4-5 hours. I was pleasantly surprised and I must say- it is the most hydrating lipstick I have ever used. I also love the packaging, it is a very sleek design and feels really expensive plus... it clicks when you close it :)

Another product I was pleasantly surprised with . The pigmentation of the Crush Lava eye shadow trio is amazing, the formula is very creamy, sticks to the lid without a primer and stays on all day! I like all the colours and they can be used together or separately. My favourite must be the gold one. I reach for it very often, use it allover my eyelids and add black liquid liner. I also used it as an eyeliner and it looked beautiful! Although all the colours are very shimmery, I use them for daytime looks. They look lovely on tanned skin and the gold can also be used as a highlighter. The packaging is simple and sturdy and you get quite a lot of product for your money.

I was very confused when I opened the packaging of this concealer. My first thought was- Why is there a lip balm in the lid? :) haha. After reading about it I found out that the lid contains a water resistant shield that prepares and moisturizes  your skin and you are meant to use it before applying the concealer. As you can see on the pictures below, the treatment shield and concealer itself are very dark. I thought I got the darkest shade, but surprisingly it is 01-light! I have got an olive skin tone and use fake tan weekly so it is ok for me, but for average white European skin tones this shade would be too dark. The primer is a bit orange and looks quite scary when applied on its own, but I only used a tiny amount, followed by the creamiest concealer I have ever tried. It really is incredibly creamy and feels lovely on my skin. It stayed on for most of the day and made my dark circles less visible. You can see the results on the photos below.
