L'Occitane Shea butter hand cream review

Today I am reviewing a hero hand care product. An award winning L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream. I fell in love with it and I am already planning buying more, as I want the smaller size for my handbag. It smells amazing and makes my hands feel really soft.

INFO: Enriched with 20% Shea Butter, this super-creamy hand cream penetrates quickly to protect, nourish and moisturise hands. Honey, almond extracts and coconut oil are blended with shea butter to create this extremely effective care. The rich texture is rapidly absorbed to leave the hands soft and smooth with no oily traces. Voted BEST HAND CREAM-SHE Beauty Awards 2011. Best Hand Cream- 2011 Harper’s Bazaar "Beauty Hot 100 list”  BEST CLASSICAL BEAUTY Product of the year - UK BEAUTY AWARDS 2010.

MY OPINION: Imagine the most luxurious hand cream you can think of! This is it! The best hand cream I've ever tried. The formula is rich and creamy and it sinks into the skin really fast, leaving my hands silky soft! Now I know why it won so many awards. It smells absolutely beautiful, kind of nutty but flowery and sweet at the same time. Every time I use it, I keep sniffing my hands. A little goes a long way. The amount you can see on the pictures above is enough to moisturise your full hands and elbows. I always moisturise my elbows when I use hand cream :) You can also use it on your knees and any dry areas of your body. I use it on my ankles- they are really dry for some reason...
I love the packaging- a simple aluminium tube that allows you to squeeze every bit of the cream out, unlike plastic tubes. I know that it is an expensive hand cream and many people wouldn't pay £18.50 for a hand care product, but I think I found "the one" and I will definitely buy it in the future, starting with the 30ml travel size for £8.00.
